  1. Carol T.

    Best walking shoes I've had

    GBBath

I do 4 miles most mornings and these are by far the most comfortable walking shoes I’ve tried. My knees don’t ache afterwards anymore. The grip is good on pavements and paths. Lightweight too — feels like wearing nothing.

  2. Patricia M.

    Helped my plantar fasciitis

    GBCardiff

After 18 months of foot pain I was willing to try anything. My physio suggested barefoot shoes and these have genuinely helped. Started with an hour a day and now I wear them all morning. Pain is about 60% better.

  3. Margaret L.

    Comfortable but not waterproof

    GBManchester

Really comfy trainers and the wide toe box is brilliant for my bunions. Only reason for 4 stars is they got soaked walking through wet grass — I’d hoped they’d be a bit more weather resistant. Fine for dry days though.

  4. Jean M.

    Plantar fasciitis relief at last

    GBDerby

After 18 months of foot pain I was willing to try anything. These barefoot trainers have been the best thing I’ve done — my physio says my foot muscles are getting stronger and the pain is genuinely reducing. I wear them every day for my walks.

  5. Dorothy S.

    Brilliant for long walks

    GBShrewsbury

I do 5,000 steps a day around our village and these are by far the most comfortable walking shoes I’ve owned. My knees don’t ache after walks anymore and I feel much more stable on uneven paths. Great grip on the soles too.

Engineered For Real Foot Health

The Shoes Your Feet Have Been Waiting For

Most shoes are built for fashion — Pimali is built for your feet. Every detail, from the wide anatomical toe box to the zero-drop sole, supports the way your feet were designed to move.

Whether you're buying them for yourself after years of foot pain, or gifting them to someone you love who deserves comfort — these shoes are the difference between dreading the day and walking through it freely.

Regular shoes vs Pimali barefoot comparison
The Honest Comparison

Why Regular Shoes Are Failing Your Feet

Modern shoes weren't designed for your feet — they were designed to look good in a shop window. Narrow toe boxes squeeze your toes. Raised heels throw off your posture. Rigid soles weaken the muscles you rely on.

Pimali strips it all back to what your feet actually need: space, freedom, and natural movement. The result? Comfort you forget you're wearing — and feet that get stronger, not weaker, with every step.

Wide toe box comparison
Wide Toe Box

Say Goodbye To Cramped, Aching Toes

If you've spent years squeezed into narrow shoes, you know the feeling — bunions, hammer toes, sore joints, and that constant ache by the end of the day. It doesn't have to be that way.

Pimali's anatomical wide toe box gives your toes the room they've been craving. Toes spread naturally, balance improves, and the pain that's been holding you back starts to fade. Your feet remember how to feel free.

The Relief You've Been Searching For

Plantar fasciitis. Heel pain. That sharp jolt with the first steps out of bed. Regular shoes concentrate pressure on the exact spots that hurt most — and every step makes it worse.

Pimali spreads your weight evenly across the entire sole, taking pressure off the painful zones. Customers tell us it's the first time in years they've walked all day without pain — a feeling worth giving yourself, or someone you love.

Posture alignment comparison
Zero-Drop Sole

Walk Tall. Stand Strong. Feel Aligned.

Every raised heel — even a small one — tilts your body forward, putting strain on your knees, hips, and lower back with every step. Over years, that adds up.

Pimali's zero-drop sole keeps your heel and forefoot at the same level — the way nature designed. Posture improves. Aches ease. Walking feels effortless again. It's not just a shoe — it's the foundation your whole body has been missing.

Easing You In

Your 3-Week Transition Guide

New to barefoot shoes? Don’t worry — your feet just need time to wake up. Here’s how to ease in:

Week 1
1 hour / day
Start gentle — around the house, light errands. Let your feet feel the difference.
Week 2
2–3 hours / day
Add short walks. Your foot muscles are starting to strengthen and adapt.
Week 3+
All day, every day
Wear them as your main shoes. Most customers feel a real difference by now.
Common Questions

FAQs About Barefoot Shoes

Are barefoot shoes good for plantar fasciitis?+
Many of our customers with plantar fasciitis report significant improvement after switching. The zero-drop sole and wide toe box encourage natural foot movement and muscle strengthening. We recommend transitioning gradually — start with 1-2 hours a day and build up.
How do I find the right size?+
We recommend measuring your foot length in centimetres and checking our size chart. If you're between sizes, go up — barefoot shoes should give your toes room to spread. You'll want about 5-10mm of space in front of your longest toe.
Are they suitable for wide feet?+
Absolutely! Our wide toe box design is specifically made for feet of all widths. Many customers with wide feet or bunions say these are the most comfortable shoes they've ever worn.
Do I need to break them in?+
The shoes themselves are comfortable straight away. However, if you're new to barefoot shoes, your feet may need time to adjust to the different feel. Start with short periods and gradually increase wear time over 2-4 weeks.
What's your returns policy?+
We offer a 30-day returns policy. If they're not right for you, simply return them in their original packaging for a full refund. Free UK delivery on all orders.
